Museum Activities: Garden Club
The Garden Club was established in 1992 by Mary Rice as an educational, outreach program for the museum. It serves the purpose of connecting the museum to the soil, as a community of farmers would have been. The club meets quarterly at the museum for educational lectures and hands on activities. The garden club is responsible for the care of the courtyard gardens and supports the museum at the Strawberry Festival and Holiday Greens sale. Novice and master gardeners are encouraged to join to learn and teach. Garden Club memberships are open to any museum member.
